you know at twenty pounds of pressure and i did make that statement before that that this system should start where we werebut the reason it wasn't was because it was so vapor locked so we're at 42 psi for 40 psi, that'spretty much my guess is that pretty close to normalfor an idle pressure on this car and i'll i'm going to take the vacuumhose of the regulator again the very slight increase, six to ten in that range is what we want to have. right now we should be moreabout 54-52 psi and then here's the key would be
when you do these kinda pressure checkstake the vacuum hose off the regulator and then snap the throttle, never want tosee a drop in pressure during that event i mean a momentary little hiccup isokay but we never want to see that so that again can be regulator, fuel filter, fuel pump, we've addressedall of that already we know we need a pump and that was justone aspect of my last video i was not able to show if this vacuum hose was connected what this would look like is when i snapit that pressure would rise because we
are losing vacuum to the regulator and ona good system thats what we'll see so we'll revisit this test one more timeafter we get the pump in and ah, we'll redo our rpm and we'll redo our pressurechecks and and amperage measurements too. one more time, this with the vacuum hose plugged in it won't be any different because this regulators never opening were neverreaching the regulated pressure so it's gonna do the same thing, never wannasee that, that is always a week fuel pump, well i don't want to sayalways a week fuel pump that would always be a fuel delivery problem whenyou see that.
