we're at tesla's new showroom in milan and ths is thenew model x. what do you think about it? i really like this car. it's a nice mix between a sportscar and an suv, it's a beautiful crossover underneath the bonnet there isn't the engine but a 150l trunk with teh charging wires. it's very big. we shall shut it with two hads there are led lights, 22 inch rims with four piston brake calipers and very sporty tires since i love tchnology, i've noticed on the side a camera, there are 3 cameras on the front glass and one other on the side window. this means that this car is studied for an automatic driving this car hs been thought fora level-4 self drivng which means that it could drive y itself with a right software since you're very tall, hop on and tell me how you fit. push on the pedal brake and you'll see that the door will shut by itself inside the car is very technologic, it has a big vertical display and a virtual cockpit from which we can even see the cars along the road the rear doors have a very unique opening. they have sensos on the bottom and on the top, allowing the car to decide how to open them, and allowing not to hit any obstacle
on the seat there's a button that makes the seat slide forward andnmakes the two other rear seats available. it can have 6 or 7 seats the opening and closing of the doors is very nice just like on the model s, this x has the energy cap on the stop light. it works with the supercharger and also with home electricity, despite taking very long with this last one to charge its 100kw bateries the trunk is pretty big, despite not having mouting something that devides the rear seats from behind. underneath the trunk there's a big pit. this is allowed by the two electric engines which are placed underneath the car tesla said that this car has a battery range of about 550km.unfortunately we'll only test it for 1h. let's go! we're in 5 inside this car and we can tell you we all love it this car is 5.03m long, ita has a 90kw battery prformance package. it reaches 100kph in 3.3s and it has a top speed of over 300kph. thanks to the two engines it has an awd and a 49/51% weight distribtion the batteriesare placed on the floor, allowinto have alow baricentre. he suspensions ca beset on 5 different setups. the traction control cannot be deactivated but limited only the steering workswell, it's a bit smoother than on the mode s but t stillw orks well. the 22 inch rims help to support the car which has a weight of 2400kg, havier than an sq7 but thanks to the great output it seems much ligher
on this car we don't have a shift. there's only an accelerator and a brake pedal and when not using the accelerator, the carrecovers the energ let's take this turn and then accelerate. despite its weight, this car is extremey fast and reactive. this tesla has som great details, like the falcon wings doorsand the magntic sun shades whichhide a courtesy mirror with lights we now usualy do the sound test. the 22inch wheels are a bit loud compare to the model s, threre are two big pits underneath the central tunnel, a smrtphone charger inside the arm rest today there's wih us tesla's marketing manager, so i don't think we'll be allowed to test it offroad, but i'm sure that thanks to the awd, it would work pretty well there are very good materials on this car such as alcantara, leather an carbon fibre and all the switches for the seatare mede by mercedes and are the ones mounted on the top range cars i'm very comfortable on the seat, there's a lot of space and it offers a good sustain to the back there's a big touch display with a new 8 software, wich is marer and the map has a full screen with the seetings that popup only when touching the screen. let's now switch seats
i've noticed that if you touch the door handle, the door opens by itself amd the seatbelts cn be set on different positions. you too are 190cm tall and there's still space there are ac vents for the rear passengers and i'll now set theseat on my position and engagethe ludicrous mode, tsting the 0-90kph pickup this car is amazing, let's test the braking. it's very very good, working better than many more cars. the steering is light but it works very well and the suspensions work perfectly, since the technibal base is shared with the model s cominere we've used the auto pilotthat, as of today, it worksery well, even fo changing lane by itself there's a rear camera and there are many other cameras will soon allow this car to have a 360â° view we'll now test the rear seat. the seat slides by itself and we caneen commad it from here. it's amazing let's now do the pickup test starting from 40kph.it's amazing how does it feel to be seated in the last seat row? i'm 190cm tall and there isn't much space for my legs, anyway if you'd move the seat in front of me a bit forward or the car would be with a 6 seats setup, i would be comfortable the 6 seats version is 3.300 euro more expensive than the sandard ad 1000 cheaper than the 7 seats. the starting price is of 105k for the 5kw batteries but is can go up to 160k for the p100d, which is the most powerful, having a real battery range of 380km, while the p90d has a range which is 10% lower
alberto, since you're on second row, how is it? well since the other passenger has moved to the rear seats, the other seat makes my shoulders umforfortable. i should move to the other seat, but i would have less space for my legs the superchargers will be for free until the ed of the year, but next year there will be a discount every client. tesla would like to increase the number of power outlets in every country i'm looking at the battery consumption, which shouldn't be too different from the model s, thanks tohe low cx coefficent which is helped by the rear active flap i really ike the display which i think is en better than audi'ss mmi since it even shows the vehicles on the road our time with this car is over. let's bring it back with empty batteries. leave a comment on the video. see you soon!
